Local Buy, an initiative of the Queensland Government, is seeking new, small and regional businesses to supply to all levels of government and many other organisations in the State.
This initiative seeks to support businesses across all industries, supplying all goods and services, by giving them access to opportunities as preferred and pre-qualified suppliers as our economy recovers from the Coronavirus crisis.

Your business can become a Local Buy supplier through submitting a tender response. Local Buy has opened up new supplier registrations as part of their commitment to a mass refresh of supplier panels and have set up a simplified process and help-desk to assist local businesses navigate through the tender process.

Small and Regional Business’ Support Package
Local Buy has waved the first year’s administration fee for all new suppliers and launched a ‘Small & Regional Business’ Support Package’. This is a specific program for small and regional businesses who have potentially been the hardest hit by the Coronavirus. The program will credit back all rebates for the first quarter of the 2021 financial year for eligible businesses. All of the information and the application process can be found here.
